Bell, Moore & Richter Moves to New Location

Bell, Moore & Richter, S.C. is a Madison law firm serving clients throughout Wisconsin since 1851, providing high quality, outcome-focused and cost-effective legal services.  They recently decided to relocate their office and will be taking over space on the third floor at 345 West Washington.

Shulfer Architects completed the plans for the 9000 square foot space which include an attractive lobby and entrance area, conference rooms and multiple private offices.   Engineered Construction will begin work on April 1st with completion scheduled for July 2015.

Water Damage at Signe Skott Cooper Hall

The UW School of Nursing, or Signe Skott Cooper Hall, recently suffered water damage from a frozen pipe.  Engineered Construction was called in to perform the reconstruction of the 6000 square feet of affected area.  These areas included classrooms, training rooms, mechanical rooms and the main computer server room and electrical room.  Work will include insulation, drywall, paint, trim, carpet and casework.  In an effort to minimize disruption to student schedules, construction is being scheduled around their spring break.

Alexander Company Moves To New Location

The Alexander Company, currently located on Badger Road in their Novation Campus, is in the process of relocating their offices.  The new location will be on the third floor of their 345 West Washington Building.  Engineered Construction is handling the build out under the direction of Jeremiah Leigh, Project Manager for Alexander Company.  Demolition of the space, which is 7780 square feet, is nearly complete and framing will begin next week.  They plan to be in the new location sometime in May.

Vom Fass Opening Second Location In Madison

Vom Fass is a gourmet food store featuring vintage wines from different regions and wineries as well as premium vinegar’s, oils and spirits in a variety of quantities. Originating in Germany, the company has grown to more than 300 stores worldwide.  The United States headquarters was opened in 2007 here in Madison which included their flagship store on University Ave.

The franchise is excited to be opening it’s second location here in Madison which will be located in the 100 block of State Street across from the Overture Center.  Franchisee owner Ashley Morrison is excited about the location and the opportunity to be involved with such a high quality product.

Engineered Construction is proud to have been selected as the contractor to build out the new space.  Construction began this week and will include the installation of many custom features which were designed by the German Company.
